Production schedule!

Hi wonderful backers!
Here's an update on our current production status as well as our schedule until delivery. Please be patient with us as things can always change due to circumstances out of our control.
1) Design Finalizations (September)
As stated in our previous update, we are currently working with our team on finalizing the bag, focusing on carry efficiency, durability and design. After every detail is settled, our manufacturer will produce a pre-production sample of the EZ_Duffle, if all modifications are adequate we will be officially starting production.
Here’s a sneak peek of some features we are looking to implement (pictures coming soon):
- Lock feature: As many of you requested, we will be offering a complimentary locking feature.
- Backpack strap: We are reviewing other carrying method to ensure that we provide the most comfortable and most convenient way to carry the bag as a backpack.
- Laptop compartment: We are currently testing out the addition of a laptop sleeve for better protection.
- New folding method for better storage: With a little change to the side pockets, you will now have an extra way to fold the bag.
- Sourcing of quality materials and fabrics.
There will be a more in-depth update about these features in the upcoming weeks.
2) Pre-production (October)
During the month of October, we will be preparing for the production of the duffle bags. This step includes sourcing the materials, packaging, shipping logistics, etc.
3) Production (October-November)
To ensure the quality of our product, we will be working closely with our manufacturer and will be on site for quality checks throughout production.
4) Delivery (November-December)
When all the bags are packed and ready for delivery, we will be sending shipments to various warehouses which are located in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Asia.
After the shipments clears customs and have arrived to the warehouses, they will be sent to your doorsteps!
We have tried our best to provide a system where our backers are not hit by international duties by shipping from within the country or the EU, however, for some countries it is simply out of our control so please be understanding.
* Backerkit Reminder *
We have reached a 90% response rate in our backer survey! We will be sending individual survey reminders on Kickstarter throughout the week to those who haven’t filled out their survey yet. They are essential to the delivery of your reward as they provide us with the information needed for us to deliver the bag to you such as your address, color choice and any add-ons you would like.

Hi dear Backers!
While our team is hard at work, both overseas and back home, we invite you to continue following our journey on IndieGoGo!
Of course, as always we will be posting regular updates here :)
In the meantime, we are preparing to send out your Surveys via BackerKit. BackerKit helps us save lots of time by streamlining the survey process, automating data organization, and providing us with pledge management software to make it easy to process your pledge reward shipments. It will be important to submit your responses as quickly as you can since we need this information to process your rewards.
First, Kickstarter needs to transfer over the funds so we can begin the production (this can take up to two weeks).
Second, we have to find out what and where we need to ship them. We’ll send out a BackerKit survey to collect this information. You will receive the survey in about a week's time :)
We’ll give you a heads-up before we send the survey so that you can watch for it. You won't need to create a BackerKit account to answer the survey and your invitation email will contain a link to your personal survey. If you prefer, you can contact us directly to provide the information, but using the survey format helps us streamline and get your rewards out to you faster.
If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey link will be sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact us.
IMPORTANT: In case you had any issues with your payment, please worry not, you will get a chance to update or re-enter your payment information on BackerKit, to honor your pledge.
Stretch Goal Update
Now on IndieGoGo, we are still very optimistic of reaching our next Stretch Goal of CA$175 and beyond to enable us to deliver the lockable zipper option that you asked for, at no extra cost.

What a journey! Since EZ_Duffle launched on Kickstarter on May 18th, the campaign raised just shy of $170K thanks to the support of 657 backers! Thank you SO MUCH for making EZ_Duffle a reality! We can't wait to deliver the bags to you!
As we mentioned in our previous update, the creators of EZ_Duffle, Jean-Francois and Michael Holuigue, are already overseas at our manufacturing facility, addressing final product refinements and setting up quality control logistics to get production underway.
Pick Your Bag Color and Address Details
Surveys will be sent in two weeks to confirm your color choice and shipping information, via our survey provider BackerKit.
What's neat about BackerKit is that you will be able to upgrade to a different reward level, if you so desire.
Please make sure all your payment information is up to date so you have no delay between now and receiving your EZ_Duffle.
