Hi awesome Backers,
This post is an UPDATED CORRECTION to our last post with clarification for our UK backers:
We'd like to confirm that shipments to the UK will also be shipped from our European warehouse location, which means that we take care of the VAT for you!
Apologies if our last Update caused any confusion for you, and thank you to our Backer who brought this to light!

European Backers + Head Start on Quality + Next Stretch Goal Confirmed!

Hi dear backers, we’ve got a few updates for you!
For our European Supporters!
Great news for our European Backers! If you live in one of the countries listed below, we’ll be shipping your EZ_Duffle directly from our European distribution center, which means that we take care of the VAT for you!
We will shipping from our European warehouse to the following countries:
Western Europe: Austria, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Luxembourg, Italy, Ireland, Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, Spain.
We may be a young company, but we're definitely in it for the long haul. That’s why we’re extra vigilant when it comes to making sure that EZ_Duffle is of top quality.
Being fully funded, gave us the confidence to travel to our manufacturer in advance of the Campaign’s end date. In fact, most of our team is already on location as of this weekend, addressing final product refinements and setting up quality control logistics.
The rest of our team is on the ground in Montreal, Canada to see the campaign across finish line!
Next Stretch Goal

Your message was loud and clear: EZ_Duffle would be even better if it came with a TSA approved locking solution. This is confirmed. The next Stretch Goal will enable EZ_Duffle to come with a full locking mechanism and will be UNLOCKED once we hit CA$175K.
We jumped right into figuring out how to integrate this feature and are on the ground with our manufacturer testing several options. Any add-ons need to adhere to our self-imposed high standards and our allowances for manufacturing costs.
Although we’re not yet certain which locking solution can be implemented, here are a few options we're considering:

Setting Next Stretch Goal
Just a reminder to all our sweet backers (especially those who joined in the last day) if you have not yet voted, you have a chance to vote on the next Stretch Goal, which will be announced later this week. You can vote until midnight Eastern Time tonight, June 22.
We recently added the following to our Kickstarter Page and would love to share this with you here. Many of you probably don't know but the actual inspiration for EZ_Duffle came from none other than the elegance and simplicity of Origami!
In this way, the origami form inspired the function of Twist & Fold for EZ_Duffle, and the modularity that followed. Here's the visual of our design thinking process:

Woohoo!!
We didn't want to bombard you with Updates but we are so stoked to be able to announce this: EZ_Duffle has gone past the $100K mark! Thank you everyone!
This means two things:
1. Upon Campaign's completion, you will have an option to choose between the Original or the all black Midnight Edition of EZ_Duffle at no additional cost. We will collect this information, along with your address, via the official end-of-campaign survey.
AND
2. Now we can plan for ANOTHER Stretch Goal. For our next update, we are working on summarizing and asking you to vote on a few feasible options that you voiced most interest in. Please stay tuned!
A Closer Look at Modules
A few of you have asked to better understand the workings of the modules. While we are planning on putting together a demo for you, we also recently added to our page some details and closeups of what the modules look like and would like to share these with you, in case you haven’t seen.
The modules are super easy to manipulate, clip on and off, for four interior layout options. When not in use, you can either collapse them flat on the duffle’s floor or take them out completely.
The backfaces of both modules sport large mesh pockets.
The Electronics module is made from the same material as the interior lining. The Flexi-Dividers module surface is made from micro-velcro to customize the flexi-dividers either vertically or horizontally, depending on what you need to pack. Please see below:
